Evea Jenkins, Winterset

Services for Evea Jenkins, 83, Winterset, who died Monday, Jan. 21 at her home, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Winterset with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Burial will be at the Greenfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Jenkins lived in Winterset for 27 years, coming here from Truro. She was married to Roy Jenkins and spent most of her life as a housewife. Mr. Jenkins died Aug. 7, 1961.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth of Riverside, Calif.; sisters, Maggie Roberts and Merle Dorsey, both of Greenfield; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.
