November 24, 1982Floyd Jeffryes, a former Madison County resident, died November 8th, at a Bay Minnette, Alabama hospital. Mr. Jeffryes was born January 22, 1915 to Nora and George Jeffryes.
As a young man he joines the SeaBees and traveled around the world many times, until retiring ten years ago because of bad health.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Cave of Stuart, his wife of Bay Minnette, Alabama, two step-sons of Florida, 8 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Mr. Jeffryes was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral services were held November 9th at Norris Funeral Home at Bay Minnette, Alabama.
