RALPH THARP, Winterset

Ralph Tharp, 41, died July 11, 1993 at his home. Funeral services will be held July 15 at 1 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shaull to officiate. Burial will be at Dalmanutha Cemetery at Casey.

Mr. Tharp was born May 15, 1952 in Princeton, Mo. to Dale and Martha (Newman) Tharp. He was engaged to marry Mary Lou Williams. A farmer, he had lived here since 1974. He was a Viet Nam veteran, having served in the U. S. Marine Corps.

Surviving relatives include his parents of Winterset; his fiancee; a daughter, Carrie Ann Tharp of St. Joseph, Mo; a brother, Verlin Tharp of Fleming, Colo.; and two sisters, Patricia Bequette of Patterson and Vickie Fitch of Winterset.
