LILLIAN FLO TERRY, Orient

Services for Lillian Flo Terry, 61, rural Orient, who died May 22 at the Greater Community Hospital, Creston, were held Saturday, May 24, at the Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Michael Metz officiating. Burial was at the Tingley Cemetery.

Born Oct. 20, 1924 at Shannon City, Iowa, she was the daughter of Eljay and Mary Carvey Hathaway. She was married to John L. Terry at Martensdale on March 25, 1950.

Survivors include daughters, Carrie Ruiz and Jennifer Powell, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; sons, John Terry of Duluth, Minn., and Michael Terry of Orient; four grandchildren; sisters, Isobell Griswold of Orient, Ruth Evans of Mount Ayr, Edith Poush of Orient, Althea Housman and Sylvia Peterson, both of Winterset, and Patricia McKinney of Rock Island, Ill.; brothers, Harold of Altoona and Charles of Los Angeles, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, her parents, a brother and a sister.
