Former Resident Buried Here Saturday

Mrs. Alice Huston Johnson, a former resident of St. Charles and Winterset, who died at Compton, Calif., on Tuesday of last week, was buried here last Saturday.

Mrs. Johnson was the former Alice Hillerman of St. Charles. After her first marriage, to Robert L. Huston, she lived in Winterset where her husband was clerk of the district court. Following his death, she moved to California, where her home had since been.

The funeral services were held from Anderson's funeral home here, in charge of the Rev. Arthur Mortenson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
