CLIFF TEEL Dies At 63

Clifford L. Teel, a former Winterset resident, died August 9th, 1979, at his home in West Des Moines. He was 63 years of age.

An employee of the Penn Dixie Cement Plant, he had lived in West Des Moines the past 21 years. He was a member of the West Des Moines Christian Church and of United Cement and Gypsum Workers Union local 258.

He is survived by his wife, Velma; three children, Jay Teel of Des Moines, Dwight Teel of Columbia, Missouri, and Francis White of Winterset; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday morning from McLaren's Resthaven Chapel in West Des Moines. Burial was in Resthaven cemetery.

Services for Clifford L. Teel, 66, of 329 Sixth St. in West Des Moines, who died of an apparent heart attack. Thursday at his home, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at McLarens Resthaven Chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Teel was born in Madison County and lived in Winterset before moving to West Des Moines 21 years ago. He retired as a laborer for Penn-Dixie Cement Plant in 1974. He was a member of the West Des Moines Christian Church and Local 258 of the United Cement, Lime and Gypsum Workers Union.

Survivors include his wife, Velma; three sons, Dwight of Columbia, Mo., Jay of Des Moines and Francis White of Winterset, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
