EDWARD TEED, California

Edward Royal Teed, 58, died at the Tri City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., March 17, 1994. Services were Tues. March 22, 1994 at the Walters - Cobrun Funeral Home in Colfax. The Rev. Phillip Webb officiated the ceremony. Burial was at the Ashton Chapel Cemetery in Mingo.

He was born in Collins on March 12, 1936 to Gail and Esther (Kern) Teed. He married Charlene Pulver on Dec. 21, 1957 in Princeton, Mo. He lived in the Peru area and after retiring from John Deere four years ago, he moved from Des Moines to California. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ankeny.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Surviving relatives include his wife; daughter, Vicki Garrett and husband Randall of Ankeny; two sons, Jerri Teed and wife Dorie of Des Moines and Kerri Teed of Rancho Bernardo, Calif.; three brothers, Gail Teed of Colfax, Leland Teed of Des Moines and Richard Teed of Colfax; six sisters, Alene Beard of Colfax, Dorothy Jones of Colfax, Ruby Beard of Mesa, Ariz., Donna Smith of Colfax, Henrietta Nickell of Cedar Rapids and Bonnie McCart of Coydon; and nine grandchildren.
