Sandra Jacobs Funeral Saturday

Sandra Sue Jacobs of R.R. 3, Winterset, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Madison County Memorial Hospital at the age of 39. She had lived in the Winterset area most of her life.

Born on Oct. 30, 1941, in Creston, she was the daughter of Walter John and Neva Loraine Silverthorn Reed. She was united in marriage to Russell Wayne Jacobs on July 2, 1961, in Winterset, and her husband survives her.

Mrs. Jacobs was a bus driver for the Winterset Community School District and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Also surviving are three children, Kimberly Kay McDonald of Winterset, Jeffery Wayne Jacobs and Cindy Sue Jacobs, both at home; her mother, Neva Miner of Winterset; two brothers, Richard K. Reed and John T. Reed, both of Winterset; and a sister, Barbara J. McNamara of Winterset. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Updike and Rev. Scott Grotewold officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
