Death of Annon James

Annon James, an old time resident of this county, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Simmons of Peru, Sunday, June 24th at the age of 93 years and 4 months. He had been in poor health for some time and his death was the result of hardening of the arteries. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the M. E. Church at 10 o'clock and burial was made in the King cemetery.

Mr. James was a farmer in the Peru neighborhood for many years. He was the father of Oliver James of this town.
