Mildred I. Jacobe, Des Moines

Mildred I. Jacobe, 84, died of a heart attack Sun., Dec. 22 at home. Services were held December 27 at Highland Park Christian Church, Des Moines.

Born in Macksburg, she lived in Des Moines over 52 years and worked as a bookkeeper for Jacobe Petroleum Maintenance and later for Younkers department stores. She was a member of the Christian church and Golden Star Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two sons, Dean and James, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Carol Hagman and Beth Roush, both of Des Moines; a sister, Neva Dell Waggoner of West Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Burial was at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.
