Delpha Pearl Jacobe, Winterset

Services for Delpha Pearl Jacobe, 86, Winterset, who died Dec. 4 at the Bethesda Care Center where she resided, were held Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Sharp officiating. Burial was at the Minburn Cemetery in Minburn.

Born in Boone County Oct. 20, 1900, she was the daughter of Amos and Hattie McGlothlin Myers. She was married to Lewis F. Jacobe and was a homemaker most of her life.

Mrs. Jacobe lived in Winterset for 50 years and was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include a son, R. Ray Slaughter of Butler, Ind.; daughters, Zelma R. Tripp of Winterset and Lela M. Hamilton of Ft. Calhoun, Neb.; a brother, Boyd Myers of Osage; sisters, Zylpha Clark of Ogden, Dorothy Hasstedt of Ogden, Vivian Hansen of Green Mountain Falls, Colo., and Betty Hudner of Virginia; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchilden and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and two sisters.
