Robert Lane Jackson, 62, of Creston died Sun., April 3, 1994 at his home. Funeral services were April 7, 1994 at the Keating-Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home in Creston. Pastor Tim Haynie officiated the ceremony and burial was at the Peru Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 15, 1931 in Cottage Grove, Ore., to Earl and Cleo (Kress) Jackson. He married Janet Paul in Tingley on June 1, 1974. He attended country school at Peru and was a longtime resident of Lorimor until moving to Creston in 1981. He was a self-employed painter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.
Surviving relatives include his wife; one daughter, Brenda Lee Jackson of Creston; and three sisters, Jeanette Hassis, Juanita Brobst of Lorimor and Opal Brooks of Des Moines.
