Winterset Madisonian - Wed., November 15, 1944

Mrs. Bert Rinard died at her home near Booneville Monday, Nov. 6th at the age of 60 years. Mrs. Rinard had not been ill, and death came unexpectedly.

She was the former Lucy Jane Davidson, daughter of Henry and Ida Davidson and was born May 30, 1884. On February 10, 1914, she was married to Bert Rinard. They were the parents of nine children, of whom one, a son Max, preceded the mother in death.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her children, Ralph Rush, by a previous marriage; Evelyn Bomar of Earlham, Russell Rinard of Glendora, Calif., Mary Mintle of San Francisco, Calif., Flight Officer Harold Rinard of the army air corps, and Carrol, Hilda, Bonnie and Peggy at home. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, and two brothers, Henry and Delbert Davidson of Des Moines, two sisters, Mrs. Lee Palmer of Winterset, and Mrs. John Garvin of Newton.

For the last thirty years, Mrs. Rinard had lived in the Fairview community, and she was an active worker in the Fairview church.

Her funeral services were held at the Fairview church Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. and burial was made in the church cemetery.
