Lois Armstrong Ingram, 79, of Ames died Dec. 28, 1999 of an aneurysm at Mary Greely Memorial Hospital in Ames.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Foursquare Gospel Church in Winterset with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with the family present from 5-7 p.m.
Lois Ingram was born Aug. 5, 1920, to Asa and Goldie (Turk) Armstrong of Iowa City. She married Chester Ingram of January of 1943 in Phoenix, Ariz. A homemaker, Lois spent most of her life in Madison County. She moved to Virginia 10 years ago, and then to Ames six months ago. She was a member of the New Life Foursquare Gospel Church in Christiansburg, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, James Ingram (wife Mary Ann) of Ames and Dwight Ingram of Mt. Ayr; a daughter, Sandra Rogerson of Napavine, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Life Bible College East or the Gideons.
