Otto Fundinger, a widely-known Jefferson township farmer for many years, died suddenly in Winterset last Wednesday of a heart attack. He was 59 years of age.
Mr. Fundinger lived practically all his life on a farm in Jefferson township. He was born there Aug. 17, 1885, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Fundinger. He was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran church of that community, of which he was an active member all his life.
He was married Jan. 27, 1909, to Miss Mary Ziemann, whose death occurred in October, 1942. Following that he moved to Winterset, where he was living at the time of his death.
He is survived by a brother, William Fundinger of Van Meter, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Vaudt of Whittemore.
Funeral services were held last Saturday from Trinity Lutheran church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. C. Lilie. Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery.
