Page 5Clarke Burial For Henry Iiams
Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 20, at 1 p.m. at First Christian Church in Winterset for Henry Iiams, 78, who died Thursday, September 16, 1976, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Mr. Iiams was born on November 5, 1897 in Peru, the son of Lewis and Ida Mae Conard Iiams. He spent all but the last five years of his life in Madison County.
A retired farmer and veteran of World War Two, Mr. Iiams was married to Alice Muck of March 25, 1919 in Winterset.
Survivors include his wife, Alice and two sons, Russell of Cedar Rapids; Vernon of Waterloo; three daughters, Evelyn Crenshaw of Lorimor, Mrs. Doris Waddle of Stuart; Mary Kalianoff of Des Moines; 29 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Presiding at Monday's services was Rev. Roy J. MacIntosh of Cedar Rapids. Burial was made at the Union Cemetery in Clarke County.
