Wednesday, July 26, 1944Mrs. T. A. Clark, former resident of Winterset, died last Saturday at her home in Iowa Falls. She was 68 years of age.
Mrs. Clark was a native of Mills county, where she was born Feb. 10, 1876. She was the former Ada Duff, daughter of James Wesley and Luvina Duff. She came with her family to Madison county, living on a farm in Lincoln township until her marriage.
She was married to T. A. Clark of Winterset on Dec. 25, 1900. They made their home in Winterset until 1928, when they moved to Iowa Falls, which had since been their home.
Mrs. Clark was the mother of three children, twin sons, Floyd and Lloyd, and a daughter, Bernice. One of the twins, Floyd, died in infancy.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Lloyd Clark of Iowa Falls; the daughter, Bernice, who now lives in Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; her mother, Mrs. Luvina Duff of Chillicothe, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. William Mathews of Chillicothe, and Mrs. John Horras of Winterset, and four brothers, Frank, and Walter Duff of Winterset, and Charles, of Chillicothe and Willie Duff of Norwalk.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Iowa Falls, and that afternoon from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset. Both services were in charge of the Rev. John Clinton of Iowa Falls. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
