Death of IRVIN ELIJAH GILBERT

Irvin Elijah Gilbert died Wednesday, July 23rd, 1930, and the funeral services were held at the Macksburg Methodist church, Friday afternoon, July 25th, at 2 o'clock. Rev. Eugene Alexander was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Moon cemetery.

Mr. Gilbert was 54 years old at the time of his death. He was the son of Elias and Mary Gilbert and was born in Madison County, October 15, 1875. He was married to Miss Pearl Armstrong on December 15, 1895.

He is survived by one son, James Gaylord, of Lucas; four brothers, E. S. and C. H. Gilbert, of Lorimor; Ezra E. Gilbert, of Zion; J. T. Gilbert, of Menlo, and two sisters, Mrs. Orinda Mobley, of Menlo, and Mrs. Emma Simpson, of Lorimor.
