MRS. DAISY BENNETT Dies at 72 Years

Mrs. Daisy Bennett, a resident of Madison county since 1914, died at Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines Saturday, Dec. 10, 1955. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs. Bennett was a daughter of Ulysses G. and Emma Hall Wilson, and was born Feb. 8, 1883, in Millersburg in Harrison county. Her childhood was spent in that community. Later she moved to Colorado with her parents and for six years taught school in Cheyenne county of that state.

She was married April 22, 1914 to Clyde Hoadley of Earlham. His death occurred in 1919 during the influenza epidemic. On Dec. 24, 1923, she was married to Earl Bennett. He preceded her in death in 1948.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Verl Haughtaling of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Isadore Sjoquist of Hawthorne, Calif.; and two brothers, Clark W. Wilson of New Castle, Wyo., and Frank Wilson of Torrington, Wash.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset with the Rev. Aldreth Weigel officiating. Burial was made at Fairview cemetery.
