ED ESTEL Of Near Winterset Dies

Ed Estel, a life-long resident of this community, died at Madison county Memorial hospital Thursday, Nov. 3, 1955. Death followed a stroke. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Estel was born in Madison county Sept. 26, 1885, a son of Jerome and Eva Estel. His life was spent in farming. He was married on Jan. 31, 1909, to Lulu Beem, who survives him.

He also leaves a son, Harold Beem, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Lena Hager of Peru; four grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Estel of Indianola and Creed Estel of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Verda Wilcox of Winterset.

Funeral services were held on Nov. 5, from Anderson's home for funerals., Rev. Warren Hile in charge. Burial was made in the Hooten cemetery.
