Page 5MRS. DALE HYLTON BURIED AT PERU
Funeral services were held Saturday from Collins Funeral home in Winterset for Mrs. Dale Hylton whose death occurred April 3 at Denver, Colo.
Mrs. Hylton was 73 years of age and had spent her life as a resident of the Peru and Winterset communities. She was the former Ila Hiatt, daughter of William and Arville Foster Hiatt, and was born at Peru Nov. 7, 1889.
She was married July 6, 1913 to Dale E. Hylton. They made their home in Winterset for many years prior to his death Jan. 27, 1960.
Mrs. Hylton was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. L. E. Bergman of Denver; two sons, Willard M. Hylton of Winterset and Jimmie D. Hylton of Denver; one grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Coral Hulbert of Des Moines; and a brother, Jesse L. Hiatt of San Diego, Calif.
The Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset, conducted the funeral services. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
