MRS. GEORGE HUSTON DIED HERE SATURDAY

Funeral Services Were held Tuesday for Life-Long Resident.

Mrs. George Huston, a life-long resident of Madison county died Saturday, Jan 4, at her home in Winterset. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs. Huston was the former Josephine L. Clement. She was born at Macksburg, October 29, 1885, and spent her early life in that community, where she worked in the postoffice as a young woman.

She was married Dec. 9, 1903, to George Huston. They were parents of five sons and three daughters.

She was a member of the Macksburg Baptist church, later transferring to the Ord church near Winterset.

She leaves her husband and their children; Stanley Huston of Marshalltown, Harol Huston of Lufkin, Tex., George Huston of Lorimor, Roy Huston of Peru, Paul Huston of New Virginia, Mrs. Della Reuss of Chicago, Mrs. Ruth Ridgeway of Burbank and Mrs. Emma Christensen of Winterset. She also leaves 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Edd Troutwein of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Macksburg Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. Earl Travis of Shellsburg. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
