Lola Darlene Gantt Huffman, 78, of Mansfield, Mo., died July 13, 2000 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Wight Cemetery (Webster Township) of rural Macksburg in Madison County.

Lola Huffman was born Oct. 12, 1921 in Greenfield to Ed and Grayce Gantt. A 1939 graduate of Greenfield High School, she worked at the United Grocery store in Greenfield. She married Dean Huffman of Sept. 4, 1941. In 1942 they moved to San Diego, Calif., where Dean was stationed in the Navy. During this time Lola worked at the Consolidated Aircraft Company. In 1980, they moved to Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (wife Lila) of Hartville, Mo., and Gary (wife Alynn) of Golden, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
