Wednesday, January 17, 1945Mrs. Hannah Young, former resident of Winterset, died on Wednesday of last week in Des Moines at the home of her son, Loyd K. Young. She was 73 years of age.
Mrs. Young was the former Hannah McKnight, and was born March 21, 1871, at Osceola. She was married April 3, 1896, to Oliver G. Young of Winterset. They were the parents of one son, Loyd, at whose home her death occurred.
In addition to her son, she is survived by two grandsons, Loyd, Jr., and Donald, both now serving in the armed forces; and a brother, Westly McKnight of Osceola.
Funeral services were conducted here Sunday from the Winterset Church of Christ, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Tom Foglesong. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Services will be at 2 p. m. today in the Winterset, la., Church of Christ for Mrs. Hannah McKnight Young, 73, who died Wednesday of a heart attack at the home of her son, Corp. Lloyd K. Young, 1434 Woodland ave. Corporal Young is stationed at Camp Hood, Tex.
Born in Osceola, Ia., she married Oliver G. Young of Winterset. Mrs. Young became a member of the Winterset church in 1915. Also surviving is a brother, Wesley McKnight, Osceola.
