Frank Crow was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania, Aug. 25, 1872. Died Nov. 9, 1917, aged 45 years 2 months and 28 days. The deceased moved to Kansas in 1878, coming to Iowa in 1880 and settled in Madison county. On Jan. 19, 1909 he was married to Miss Nora Given. Three children blessed this union: Wade, Mabel, and Russell.
About a year ago Mr. Crow underwent an operation and for the past two months has been in the hospital in Des Moines, where he died.
Four brothers survive: A. D., Roy, Dr Ira of Marengo, Walter A. of Minneapolis and two sisters: Mrs. Gillette Harpole of Patterson and Mrs. Charles Devault also survive him.
Mr. Crow became a Master Mason when Webster held a chapter, July 2, 1906, he deposited his demit in Ft. Fabor lodge No. 293 of Dexter and was in good standing at the time of his death. The Dexter Masonic order attended the funeral in a body. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Webster, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. E. Ilgenfritz of Dexter.
