Clair C. Horn, 93, of St. Louis, Mo., died Sept. 2, 2002 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services were held Thursday Sept. 5, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds with the Rev. Harold Harryman officiating. Burial was at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Douds.
Clair Horn was born Feb. 6, 1909 to Thomas Gilmore and Cora (Channell) Horn of rural Douds. He married Marie Morrison on Nov. 17, 1934, in Cedar Rapids. Clair had been employed as a civilian personnel officer with the United States Air Force. He had resided in Washington, D.C. and since 1943, in the St. Louis area. He was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Crestwood, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by three daughters, Carolynn Boehmer (husband Todd) of Crestwood, Mo., Janet Heida (husband Robert) of Ellisville, Mo., and Linda Silverman (husband Joseph) of Montgomery, Ala.; a brother, Thomas Horn (wife Nancy) of Winterset; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter.
