DONNA WILLEKE, Dexter

Donna Mae Willeke, 73, of Dexter, died from complications of a stroke Sept. 30, 2004, at her home.

A memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 4, at All Saints Catholic Church in Stuart with Father David Fleming officiating. Inurnment of the cremains took place at Calvary Cemetery in Stuart.

Donna Willeke was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Carroll to Joseph and Viola (Tacke) Wuebker. She spent her childhood on the family farm near Ayrshire. On May 22, 1954, she married Donald Willeke in Ayrshire. Donna worked at Drew’s Candy Factory in Dexter for over 20 years. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Altar and Rosary Society.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Willeke, and a grandson, A.J. Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, of Dexter; two daughters, Ann Marie Tigges of Redfield and Barbara Brown of Stuart; five brothers, Merlin Wuebker of Milford, Bob Wuebker of Emmetsburg, Bill Wuebker of West Bend, Ralph Wuebker of Addison, Texas, and Jim Wuebker of Minnesota; two sisters, Norma Jean Ocken of Denver, Colo., and Florine Fisher of Carroll; and seven grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Kuhn Funeral Homes of Dexter, Earlham and Redfield.
