Mrs. Chas. W. Henry died at her home Monday morning of a heart attack. She had been troubled with a heart ailment for some time but her death came unexpectedly. She had been up town Saturday night visiting with her friends.

Mrs. Henry was a lifelong resident of this community. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church. Rev. Arthur Henry conducted the services. Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.

OBITUARY

Laura W. Schlarb daughter of Nicholos and Eliza Schlarb was born April 15, 1877, in Penn township, Madison county, Iowa, and passed away at her home in Earlham, October 23, 1944. She grew to young womanhood in Penn township where she attended the public school. She also accepted Christ as her Savior in her girlhood.

She was married to Chas. W. Henry December 24, 1894, and to this union two children were born, Ferne Anderson of Stuart, and Harlan of Des Moines.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Chas. W. Henry, two children, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Anderson of Stuart, and Harlan Henry of Des Moines. Also a grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Anderson of Cambridge, and one grandson, Paul E. in the service of his country in the South Pacific and one great grandson. She also leaves two sisters who live in Earlham, Mrs. Sophia Fritz and Mrs. Kate Rausenberger and a host of friends. Her entire life was spent in Madison county.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry have lived in Earlham about 35 years. Mrs. Henry was a great lover of flowers and rocks as we all know.
