Ralph Augustus Bricker, eldest son of Melvin and Ella Bricker was born in Penn township, Madison County, March 1st, 1883, and passed from this life April 30th, 1946, at the age of 63 years and two months.

On March 2nd, 1910 he was united in marriage to Mabel Speer. They were the parents of four children, Mrs. Ila McClurg of Dana, Iowa; Russell, Hazel and Melvin of Earlham.

In addition to the wife and children he leaves his aged mother, four brothers, Herschel of Maine; Earl of Winterset; Walter and Charley of Earlham; and two grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was a great lover of sports and outdoor life.

Funeral services were held at the Penn Center church Friday, May 3rd, conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis.

(Burial was in the Penn Center cemetery)
