Services for Wilma Anna Holtmyer, 64, rural Dexter, who died June 3 at Des Moines General Hospital, were held Wednesday morning, June 6 at the First United Methodist Church with Charlie Morrow officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born in Page County March 8, 1920 to Theodore and Mary Maxwell Lubben. She had lived in Madison county since 1944 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winterset and the United Methodist Women.

On June 1, 1939, she married John Holtmyer at Blanchard, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Darwin of Macksburg and E. Lee of Winterset; a foster son, Lyle Ashley of Adel; a daughter, Judy Holtmyer of Des Moines; a brother, Howard Lubben of Arroya Grande, Calif.; a sister, Myrtle Craig of Coin, Iowa; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
