FORMER RESIDENT OF PATTERSON DIES

Mrs. Elizabeth Holt, a native of Patterson, died Thursday, April 5, at a Des Moines hospital, after eight months of illness. She was 54 years of age.

Mrs. Holt was the former Elizabeth Carson, daughter of Fred and Etta Carson of Patterson. When she was 4 years old, the family moved to Des Moines, where she spent the remainder of her life.

She was married 36 years ago to Len Holt, who survives her. She also leaves two daughters and her mother.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Hamilton Funeral home in Des Moines. Relatives attending included Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wagner of Winterset, Mrs. Marjorie Kinnaird, Iona Cellan, Milburn Cellan and children, Mary and Alex of Patterson, and Mrs. Audrey Basore and Alma Kilmer of Winterset.
