Wednesday, October 25, 1961FRED BRUETT Funeral Held Last Friday
Funeral services were held Friday from the Anderson-Wilson Funeral home here for William Frederick Bruett of Winterset, whose death occurred here Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1961. The Rev. Richard L. Lehmann, pastor of the St. Paul Lutheran church of Winterset, conducted the service. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
Mr. Bruett was a resident of this community most of his life, and was 63 years of age at his death. He was born here March 6, 1898, a son of William A. and Lutie McDonald Bruett.
His active life was spent in farming. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church here.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Brooks of Des Moines and Kathryn Bruett of Indianola; a son, Robert M. Bruett of Indianola; five sisters and four brothers.

Among the relatives who were here from a distance, Friday to attend funeral services for Fred Bruett were, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Trout of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mrs. George F. Allen and son of Independence, Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Alexander of Kansas City, Missouri.
Also Mrs. Carl Busch of Casey, Mrs. George Wilkie of Menlo, Mrs. Curtis Binns of Adel, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wolverton of Adair, Mrs. Nelson Pritchard, Mr. and Mrs. Lee McDonald, Mrs. Ina Witham, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bruett and Mr. and Mrs. John Bruett of Des Moines.
