Graveside services for Ray Hollingsworth, 85, Winterset, who died June 19 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held at the Winterset Cemetery June 25 with the Rev. Doris Kinton officiating. The body was cremated.

Born in Webster County, Iowa on December 27, 1902, he was the son of Ezra J. and Clara Gabin Hollingsworth. He was married to Sarah G. Moon on Sept. 28, 1936 at Mt. Ayr.

Mr. Hollingsworth, a retired farmer, moved to Madison County in 1947 and was affiliated with the First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Karen Lorene Haines; sisters, Tina Bechtel of Springfield, Ore., and Ada Geis of Lehigh, Iowa; and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons.
