MRS. WALTER SHUFF Of St. Charles Dies

Mrs. Walter (Flora) Shuff of St. Charles died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1965, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 69 years of age.

Mrs. Shuff was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Palmer, and was born in Warren county, July 16th, 1896. She was married to Walter Shuff on March 1, 1915. They lived in Warren county until about 20 years ago. Their home had been in St. Charles recently.

She is survived by her husband; 10 children, Mrs. Vern Baker of New Virginia, Mrs. Ira McDaniel of Stillwater, Okla., Joseph Shuff of Lisbon, Mrs. Earl Harris and Mrs. Paul Nicadeimus of Des Moines, Mrs. Dale Stewart of Winterset, Mrs. Andy Norgaard of Carlisle, Mrs. John Holliday of Edward, Calif., Walter Shuff, Jr., of Winterset, and Larry Shuff of Des Moines; in addition to 29 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Oren Palmer of Indianola. A son, Edward, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial was made in the Wick cemetery.
