JOSIE HENDRICKS Died On Tuesday

Mrs. Milo C. Hendricks of Winterset died Tuesday, July 26, 1966, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Hendricks was a life-time resident of Madison county. Most of her life was spent in Union township, but she had moved into Winterset a few years ago.

She was the former Josie E. Brittain, daughter of Seth and Lucy Farris Brittain, born in this county January 1, 1893. She was married in 1913 to Milo C. Hendricks. His death occurred in 1961.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Clyde Hendricks of Winterset; four daughters, Mrs. Glenn Parker, Mrs. Frank Davis, Mrs. Roscoe Tyer and Mrs. Charles Hulbert, all of Winterset; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Brittain of Lorimor; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Allen and Mrs. Lois Clark of Winterset; and a foster brother, Albert DeWitt of Peru.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist church in Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Everett K. Burham. Burial will be made in the North McDonald cemetery.
