Mary Louise Voss, 79, of Council Bluffs died Dec. 31, 2004.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday, Jan. 5) at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic with Pastor Gus George officiating. Burial was at the First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Wiota.
Mary Voss was born Dec. 6, 1925, to Leon and Katherine (Jessen) Albert of Murray. She attended school in Atlantic, graduating from Atlantic High School. On Sept. 29, 1946, she married Remmer Voss at the Lutheran Church in Wiota. They made their home in Winterset from 1962 to 1988. Mary was a member of the Lutheran Church and a founding member of the Madison County Association for Special People.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Dr. Harold Albert and Don Albert.
She is survived by three sons, Craig Voss and Curt Voss, both of Council Bluffs, and Cory Voss of Chandler, Ariz.; one daughter, Ila Byrne of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
