Funeral services are pending at the Collins Funeral Home for Mrs. Doris Von Werne of Tubac, Arizona.
Mrs. Von Werne, who was 53, died Monday, November 29th, 1976, after a short illness. She was born in Winterset the daughter of Lee and Jessie Boyd Dunn and attended school here.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 3, at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home for Doris M. Von Werne, a native of Madison County, who died Monday, November 29, 1976, at Tucson, Arizona.. She was 52 years of age.
The daughter of Lee R. and Jessie Boyd Dunn, Mrs. Von Werne was born in Madison County on September 9, 1924. Her residence here extended through early childhood.
The marriage of Mrs. Von Werne to Robert Von Werne took place August 11, 1947, in Des Moines.
Survivors include her husband, Lt. Col. Robert Von Werne; two daughters, Susan and Karen of Tubac, Arizona; a brother, Cecil Dunn of Eagle Grove, Iowa, and a half-brother, Gene Dunn, St. Charles, Iowa.
Burial Friday was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
Officiating was Dr. Charles McKinzie, Des Moines College Avenue Christian Church.
