DOROTHY O. VLIEGER, Marshalltown

Services for Dorothy O. Vlieger, 75, Marshalltown, who died Oct. 1, 1983, at the Grandview Heights Nursing Home, Marshalltown, were held Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Community Building in Winterset with the Rev. Vernon Spinner officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County Oct. 20, 1907, she was the daughter of Orville and Jessie Henry Lyddon. She married James Vlieger on Feb. 1, 1933 at Winterset and spent most of her life as a homemaker.

Survivors include sons, Paul of Norwalk, James Jr. of Peru and Kenneth of Fairmont, Minn.; daughters, Imogene (Mrs. Jasper) DeRaad of Belle Plaine, Joyce (Mrs. Dean) Klenk of Marshalltown and Janiece (Mrs. Harry) Tinnell of Danne Brog, Neb.; brothers, Wayne Lyddon of Winterset and Carmon Lyddon of Menlo; a sister, Eileen (Mrs. Warren) Tabor of Minneapolis and 16 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother.
