EDNA N. VINCENT, West Des Moines

Edna Nora Vincent, 97, of Fountain West Health Center in West Des Moines, died of a heart ailment Feb. 9, 1986, at Des Moines General Hospital. Services were held at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and burial was in Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Vincent was born in Virginia but was reared in rural Madison County. She lived most of her adult life in Des Moines and was a retired employee of Mercy Hospital Medical Center.

Survivors include sons, Harry of Winterset and Robert F. of Leawood, Kan.; daughters, Irene Williams and Opal Pierick, both of Des Moines; Hazel Fizell of Los Angeles, Calif., Mary Ketzle of Reynolds, Ill., and Eva Evans of Youngstown, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and a son.
