Van Meter--(Special)--Orah M. Reigle, a resident of the Fairview neighborhood most of his life, died at his home in Van Meter Sunday of last week after a long illness. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Reigle was born in Madison county, March 7, 1884. His active years were spent farming in the Fairview neighborhood. Last fall, because of ill health, he retired and moved to Van Meter.

He is survived by his wife; a step-son, Edwin Armstrong; two sisters, Mrs. Irvin Hazen and Mrs. Jerome Golightly; and a brother, Lloyd Reigle.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Jefferson township United Brethren church, conducted by the Rev. E. A. Elliott of Des Moines, and the Rev. William Suckow of Van Meter. Burial was made in the U. B. cemetery in Jefferson township.
