Wednesday, June 26, 1946Warren Thomas, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas of Creston, died at the Greater Community hospital there Monday. Death was caused by lock-jaw, resulting from a tetanus infection in a foot that had been cut a few days previously. He was ill but a few hours.
The boy was born in Madison county, near Macksburg, and lived there until four years ago when the family moved to Creston.
He is survived by his parents, and a brother, Ray. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Binns of Macksburg, and a great grandson of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Fuson of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Methodist church at Creston, and burial was made in the cemetery there.
