MRS. IVA CARTER Died Thursday

Mrs. Iva E. Carter of Winterset a resident of Madison county all her life, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 1966, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Carter was born in this county May 11, 1881, a daughter of Joseph and Sarah Kennedy Oller. She was married at Winterset on Nov. 21, 1907, to Jesse F. Carter. His death occurred in 1932.

A son, Dyle J. Carter, died in 1962. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Almeda Harrison of Evergreen, Colo; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, John Oller of Afton, Earl Oller of Omaha, Neb., and Lee Oller of Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Lela Martin of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Walter A. Samp, of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
