Page 1Frank Seerly, a life-long resident of the Worthington neighborhood, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines on Sunday of last week.
Funeral services were held from the Worthington church on Tuesday of last week, in charge of the Rev. Reed Kessler of Stuart.

Thursday, February 15, 1945Francis Hilery Seerley, son of Wm. and Mary E. Seerley was born December 21, 1857 in a log cabin on the Seerley farm southeast of Earlham, and passed from this life February 4, 1945. His entire life was spent on the farm where he was born. Frank, as he was known, was a man of sterling character and deep Christian faith. Much of his time was spent in study of the scriptures.
He leaves to mourn his passing, two sisters and one brother, Grace, Flora and Vick Seerley; all residing at home. One niece, Mrs. Mabel Holliday and family of Greenfield, Iowa. Also many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feburary 6, in the Worthington Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. W. Reed Kessler of Stuart.
Interment was made in the Worthington cemetery.
