January 1981ANDY VIDMAR Dies at 94
Funeral services for Andro Vidmar of Winterset were held this Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1981, at 1 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home.
Mr. Vidmar, a native of Yugoslavia, died Jan. 12 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. He was 94 years of age.
He was born Nov. 6, 1886 in Croatia, Yougslavia. His parents are unknown.
He emigrated to this country and worked in coal mines. He later farmed south of Patterson, moving to Winterset in 1955.
He was married to Anna Kusvich in Yugoslavia in 1909. She preceded him in death in 1966.
Mr. Vidmar was a 50 year member of the C.F.U. Croatian Lodge of Des Moines.
There are no known survivors.
Officiating at the funeral this Wednesday was Rev. David Livingston. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
