May 20, 1953MARGARET VERRIER Died Last Week
Mrs. Margaret Verrier died at the Madison County Memorial hospital in Wintersest, Wednesday, May 13, 1953, at the age of 84 years. Mrs. Verrier had been a resident of Winterset for the last four years, making her home here with her son, James Verrier.
She was a native of Shell Rock where she was born Aug. 16, 1868. She was the former Margaret Stewart. Her husband preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, John S. Verrier of Omaha, Nebr., J. Donald Verrier off St. Joseph, Mo., and James M. Verrier of Winterset; a sister, Helen Young of Kansas City, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Jamie and Julieanne Verrier.
Burial, with graveside services, was held Friday at Shell Rock, with the Shell Rock Methodist minister in charge.
