Funeral services for Virginia M. Veenstra, 53, were held Mon., Jan 4 at Second Christian Reformed Church in Pella with the Rev. Gordon Mouw officiating. Mrs. Veenstra died December 31, 1992, in her home. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
She was born June 1, 1939, near Oskaloosa to Ben and Kate (Marinus) Jansen. She married Raymond Veenstra November 14, 1958 in Pella. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in farming and the auction business. She had been an active member of the Pella Christian Grade School Mother's Club and the Pella Christian High School Boosters Club. She was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband; three children; two grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister, Harriet Jackson and her husband Harold of Winterset.
