Katharyn Louise Hiskey, St. Charles

Funeral services for Katharyn Louise Hiskey, 74, were held Mon. Jan. 7 at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles with the Rev. Doug Helton officiating. She died Fri., Jan 4 at Clarke County Hospital, Osceola.

Born in Lorimor March 27, 1916 to James and Guyda (Gorr) Gibson, she attended Lorimor schools. She married Clifford W. Hiskey March 25, 1943 in Colorado Springs, Colo. She had lived in St. Charles since 1952. She was a housewife and a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister and her husband.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Bedwell and husband Garry of St. Charles, three sisters, Virginia Denley of Lorimor, Betty Campbell of Pekin, Ill., and Pauline Neisemeir of Murray; two brothers, Gerald Gibson of Lorimor and Junior Gibson of West Des Moines; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Lorimor Cemetery.
