FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN MISSOURI

Mrs. Hattie Hiskey, a former Madison county resident, died at the St. Joseph Convelescent center in St. Joseph, Missouri, last Saturday morning.

She was born at Barney, March 24, 1892, the daughter of Gorham and Ida Palmer and moved to St. Joseph, Missouri in 1930. She was a member of the Christian church.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Florence Adams, Mrs. Carl Banks, Mrs. Wilbur Falkenback, and Mrs. Daryl Ripper all of St. Joseph and Mrs. Ray Newton of Wathena, Kansas, three sons, Gailen Hiskey, Wayne Hiskey of St. Joseph and Walter Hiskey of Chilicothe, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Duff of Winterset and three brothers, Gorham Palmer of Des Moines, Clarence Palmer of Earlham and Lawrence Palmer of Winterset.

Funeral services and burial were held at St. Joseph.
