Eleanore G. Hiskey, 78, of Winterset died of complications of Alzheimer's Disease May 19, 1996 at the Winterset Care Center North. Funeral services will be Friday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Don Frank will officiate the services and burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m.
She was born in Creston on Nov. 21, 1917 to Carl Wesley and Nell Jane (Welcher) Daggett. She married Myers B. Farlow in September in 1935. She later married Harold Hiskey in July of 1961 in Bethany, Mo. She was a retired clerical worker for Look Magazine. She was a lifetime resident of Madison County. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America; 36-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 562 of Cumming; Patterson United Methodist Church and a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; three sons; and one brother.
Surviving relatives include one son, Kenneth Farlow and wife Kate of Spring Hill, Fla.; two daughters, Dayna Decker and husband Joe of Lorimor; and Linda Thornburg and husband Ron of Forest Lake, Minn.; two daughter-in-laws, Geneva Farlow and husband Eldred of West Virginia and Ruth Farlow and husband Jerry of Dunkerton; 26 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren
