ALMA A. HIRCOCK DIES AT 93 YEARS

Was Madison County Resident For Three Quarters Of Century

Mrs. Alma A. Hircock, a resident of Madison county for three quarters of a century, died last Wednesday, June 20, at a Winterset nursing home. She was 93 years of age.

Mrs. Hircock was a native of Washington county, where she was born June 8, 1869, a daughter of Reuben and Olive Bodin Orris. She lived on one farm in Jackson township for 62 years.

She was married Feb. 23, 1893 to Charles E. Hircock. He preceded her in death in 1950.

Mrs. Hircock is survived by one son, Everett A. Hircock of near Winterset; three grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Lewis W. Lint, pastor of the West Star Methodist Church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
